Radio Communication Tower

Radio Communication Tower
Details:
When your signal is getting eaten by hills, rooftops or tree lines, what you need is height. Our radio communication tower is a steel tubular mast, 20 to 150 m tall, rolled from φ70×4 up to φ1200×20 tube in Q345B/Q355B. It lifts VHF/UHF antennas for broadcast, two-way radio and wireless backhaul.

A radio communication tower gets your antennas above the local clutter, and every extra metre widens the service area. The shaft is a circular or polygonal tube, and we keep each lift section light enough that an ordinary site crane can handle it. Flanged joints bolt together on the ground, with no welding up in the air. Platforms carry the antenna arrays, and a tube ladder climbs one leg at a safe rung spacing, while a lightning rod on top feeds straight down to the earth grid.

Remote hilltop and rural broadcast points where the coverage line depends on height

Product Advantages

The closed tubular body catches less wind than an open lattice in storm country

Flanged field assembly bolts together, no on-site welding needed

Ladder and platform spacing built to suit the crews who will climb it

Hot-dip galvanized as standard, painted on request for coastal or industrial air

FAQ

Q: What kinds of antennas can we hang on a radio communication tower?

A: We mount bat-wing VHF/UHF panels, log-periodic wideband arrays and cellular sector panels on the platform brackets, whatever your band calls for.

Q: How tall do we actually need to go?

A: Coverage grows with height, so we size the mast to your terrain, receiver line and frequency band, then come back with the footprint.

Q: How many antennas fit on one platform?

A: The whole structure is rated for a full set of antenna arrays spread across the platforms.
